I love this shocking language and this characters so living and complicated in this book. I did not know the author's name and I was really more than delighted of this vivid and thrilling writing through a city's life.

So I'm entirely involved. I need some days to read the book because it #s very emotional and makes me think over. I'm really tired like Hazel because of all the exciting moments in the city. Who would be welcomed by an eagle with a fish and the fish struck and hurt your head.
From the beginning Hazel and Camp argued and quarreled with hard expressions. And through all the fuss the author succeeds to make us laugh all the same.

The story of the bishops familiy with his little tragedies and Cam who always wants to help and defend himself against pain falls in love with Hazel. But he cannot stand the tragic loss of his brother in law and that makes him act like a fool without real emotions.
The words are set so expressive, the characters are so complexe that I was surpreised and impressed to tears by all what they do and think.
So many catastrophes, misunderstandings and messaging stuff to be stressed what is passing make the reading a thrilling pleasure. The happy ending interrupts three times and we think it ends in this depressed atmosphere but the something unexpected occured and ecerything changed.
