Gripping
The cover of the book did not attract me. First I thought of fantasy. But when I started reading I realized it is a book of love. A story of a man loosing his old life and starting new. It is actually in the end too spiritual for my taste, but none the less I really wanted to know how the story ends, so it gripped me and I read it in two days. Big parts of the story are rather descriptive, long parts of the lives of the characters in overview. There are few scenes where the moment is described: then the full flavor of the novel comes to light with scents in the kitchen being described and really a possibility of feeling like being in the moment. It could be filmed as a drama or a romantic comedy, rather a drama and I would for sure cry. The fenix on the cover is a little bit pixelated but the personal line of the author inside makes it special. I hope Henrik and Helen will cherish their lives forever!
