"My English is not the yellow from the egg." - a phrase we actually use in "Denglisch" to say - and at the same time prove - that we're not good at speaking english. The authors found a lot of funny examples for phrases and words actually used by germans in english conversations, such as "Hello together", as well as translating funny words, just because there are no good ways to say something equivalently in english. Besides from being hilarious, this book also shows that german actually is a wonderful language that's being mocked by foreigners for no good reasons.
I do think tough that you rather need to be a native german speaker to really understand the book and especially to get all the jokes. I normally disagree with the common reader about humerous books being actually funny, but this book excerpt really made me laugh out loud for a view times and I'd really enjoy going on with it.
