Eine tolle Idee ein netter Auftakt zu einer Reihe.
Da ich das Buch vor einem Jahr auf englisch gelesen habe, habe ich es auch in englisch rezensiert. Hier meine Orginal Gedanken zu dem Buch.
Twylla growed up as the daughter of the Sin Eater. People were getting away from her because of this. Than the queen asked to come to the castle with her and start a new destiny and still Twylla is always alone. She lives in a castle full of people but the people are afraid of her. No one comes near her. Then she is Daunen Embodied, the daugther of the Gods. The executioner. One touch of her and the person dies. Only the royal family, blessed by the gods can touch her. No one treat her like a girl, till her new guard Leif comes to the castle.
A nice, short, fast readable story. Apparently the first book in a trilogy. It was nice but maybe not the best story I have read in a while. The end was kind of rushed and in my eyes there was a possiblity for more story/backgroundstory.
