This series is a little bit scary, the magic number 13 contributes to this. Still nobody knows what is so unlucky at number 13 but some belive - the persuasion is important.
For me I can definitely confirm my first impression of the book Unlucky 13.
The story partly plays at the Golden Gate Bridge and it contains two dead bodies - read it and you find out the mystic in it. The main character is Detective Lindsay Boxer. But was the dead of the two a traffic accident? She believes it but not everybody supports her.
The second character is Mackie, her ex-colleague who turned to a killer, he murdered three people in San Francisco. Now Lindsay will go back and find out if the news is true or not.
The language is figurative, direct speech makes it interesting. It feels like you are in the middle of the scene.
